We do not have retail hours or have cakes/cupcakes pre-made available for sale. All of our confections are custom-made to individual specifications. Please visit our Gallery. It is an introduction of a few of the works we have done. As we evolve, we introduce new designs which are updated regularly on our Facebook page. There you will find a wide selection of our work.

How much do your cakes / desserts cost?

With any customized work, it is difficult to determine where to begin. There are many factors to take in account, number of servings, complexity of the design, and any particulars to the client. Sometimes a smaller cake may take longer to create than a larger cake, as well as desserts.

Our minimum charge for a custom cake order is $250.00

Our minimum charge for a 3D custom cake order is $300.00

Our minimum charge for a custom Wedding cake order is $300.00

Consultations are made for orders with the minimum of $500.00

Most cakes range between $6 to $15 per serving depending on the design and intricacy some can even range up to $25 per serving.

When should I book my order?

We do not like to rush our clients and encourage them to research. We cannot guarantee availability before a contract is signed. Most clients book our services months in advance for their event. However, we have been known to take last-minute orders. You never know!

How do I schedule a consultation/tasting?

Our studio is open by appointment only. We custom make every item and operate on a first come, first served basis. We prepare fresh cake samples for each consultation. Consultations for Wedding Cakes and Custom Celebration Cakes are made for orders with the minimum of $500.00 due to our work load. We prefer to have our consultations in the early evenings Monday thru Thursday. On rare occasions we may be able to have consultations on Sundays.

The cake consultation is a personalized cake tasting which allows you to address all questions and concerns regarding, cake design, pricing, payment, delivery and other details. At the cake consultation, you will sample your requested flavors for a fee of $40.00. The tasting is for 3 guests. Any additional guests are $10.00 each. 

Cake tastings are complimentary for cake orders over $1000, placed within a week of the consultation. This fee is non-refundable.

Bring a few items that can be helpful in the design process: invitations, dress photos, color samples from fabric or ribbon, photos of any element that will be a part of your event, including floral designs, magazines, books and websites, or anything you would like to incorporate into your cake.

After the deposit is made, we will send a designer sketch to you for your approval.

What are the payment arrangements to place an order?

A non-refundable 50% deposit of the total balance and signed Cake Order Form contract is required to hold your event date. Full order balance is due 2 weeks (14 days) before your event. Sweet-Scapes, LLC. accepts payments in the form of cash, checks, and PayPal. 

Deposits and payments in full may be made by Paypal, Cash or personal check. Balances paid by credit card through our PayPal are subject to a $15 convenience fee. Please note that payments by check are subject to a $45 return check fee. Payments made by check are not considered “paid” until the check has cleared.

What is your policy on refunds and cancellations?

We serve on a first come first serve basis. When a date is secured, it limits other possible business. We are limited in the amount of orders we accept.

The 50% deposit is non-refundable.

If you cancel your order within 14 days of the event, no monies paid shall be refunded. If an event is moved to another date (within 6 months), all monies and contract will be transferred in form of a credit, to the new date (only if available), plus any additional fees if applicable.

There are no cash refunds allowed, only in-store credits for another order of equal or greater value to be use within 6 months. It will be to our discretion.

What is the cost of delivery? Can the order be picked up? Can you ship my cake?

Delivery charges are based on distance and tolls with a $50 minimum in New Jersey, $85 minimum for NY, PA and CT.

We recommend delivery of most cakes since they are large, tall, and/or heavy. Careful driving is imperative and proper handling of the cake during transportation ensures safe delivery without mishaps. Some designs require the presence of a staff member for assembly on-site.
